The Wish Of A Woman Realized

A few years ago, General Secretary Kim Jong Un paid a field visit to a fishing station on the East of Korea.

The leading officials, employees and their family members were overwhelmed by the pleasure to show him another big haul of fish in the course of opening up a new history of gold sea. But at this moment of glory when all of them were full of emotion and ecstasy, one woman was in vexation left at home.

She was the wife of the managing director of the station, who had a bad health condition and had been unable to be on the wharf where the labour was in shortage.

Whenever she heard the news that General Secretary Kim Jong Un came to the station and had photo sessions with not only the workers of the station, but also their wives working on the wharf, she sincerely wished she could also have had that honor.

However, she thought she did not deserve that honor as she had not made any contribution to fishing.

As she looked at the photo of her husband with General Secretary Kim Jong Un, tears flowed down quietly along her cheeks.

At that moment, an official hurriedly came to her house and informed her that

General Secretary Kim Jong Un was waiting for her to come to him.

It was the happiest moment which she longed for so much, but unable to believe it, she just stood still for a while.

When General Secretary Kim Jong Un proposed to have a photo session with the workers of the station and their family members, he was reported by the Party official of the station about the managing director’s wife.

He had a shadow on his face for a while, and then he said: I visited this station 3 times and had a photo session on each occasion, but the managing director’s wife missed them all because of her health condition. We must have her here. She will be very sorry if she miss this opportunity again. Take my car and bring her here as soon as possible.

The managing director’s wife rushed into the arms of General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

Unable to hold back the surging emotion, she extended a sincere greeting of thanks to General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who was smiling brightly.

Looking affectionately at her, General Secretary Kim Jong Un said tenderly to her: You say you cannot find any word to express your thanks to me for calling you to me though you have made no contribution to fishing, but you must recover your health as soon as possible and care for your husband so that he can work harder.

Then, he walked towards the place of photographing arms in arms with the managing director and his wife who were choked in emotion.

It was a historic scene which could not be witnessed without tears of emotion.
