A Branch School for Two Children

In a mountainous village several kilometres away from the seat of Toksong County there is Jungil Branch of Jungdol Senior Middle School.

At present two children are studying at the school, and both of them are the children of ordinary farmers.

And there is a teacher just for two children.

This small branch school is not an exception in enjoying the warm affection of the Workers’ Party of Korea for children and the benefit of the socialist system.

Although they live in a remote mountainous village, they receive new uniforms, school bags and “Mindulle” notebooks, just like the children in other parts of the country.

Accordingly, loud reading, merry singing and happy laughter always resound from the branch school.

A branch school just for two children!

This dream-like reality is beyond imagination in the capitalist world where money is everything.

There are a lot of countries in the world, but there is not such a country as ours which spares nothing for the rising generations.
