School Platform Defended By Her

A few months ago, a pupil from Sariwon Primary School for Orphans was awarded the Prize of Children’s Literature.

The leading officials and teachers were all happy, but all the more so was Ryu Kum Ju, who is charge of the composition circle.

The pupil was one of her disciples.

As she always did whenever her disciples were recognized as little prodigies in literature, she looked back in emotion on her proud past.

Actually, until a few years ago she had been a teacher of a junior middle school in Sariwon, and many people had been surprised to learn that she had decided to move from her dear school to the primary school for orphans.

But she had remember General Secretary Kim Jong Un’s saying that orphans should be trained to become KPA soldiers, PhDs and heroes, and pictured before her eyes the primary school which had been set up in a splendid fashion in her native city Sariwon under the warm affection of the Workers’ Party of Korea for coming generations.

Her determination to stand in the van of implementing the intention of the Party had pushed her to the platform of the primary school for orphans.

Her life at the primary school for orphans was more difficult than she had thought as she had to play the role of both a teacher and a mother.

But not to be ashamed of her choice, she spent each day in a worthy way.

She dedicated her heart and soul to literature circle of the primary school for orphans, but also the Hwangju senior middle school for orphans several kilometers away. She travelled to the senior middle school several times a month.

In this course she became distinguished at the primary school for orphans, and the number of her disciples of extraordinary talent gradually increased not only from her own school, but also from the senior middle school for orphans.

Then, she was extremely happy, thinking how pleased General Secretary Kim Jong Un would be to know that orphans were growing up to be the talents.

With the beautiful aim cherished deep in heart, she now continues to devote her all for orphans.
