The Most Valuable Wealth

A few years ago when the rehabilitation from flood damage was under way in Rason, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un was reported one day by an official about the fact that some residents in the flood-affected area pull down their houses which could be repaired, at the news that the Party would build new houses for those families who had been left homeless after the flood.

The officials were going to make a serious issue of this fact as a manifestation of egoism seeking self-interest when the country was in difficult situation.

But the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un said to the officials: We should not blame them for it. They would not have done so if they had not had trust in the Party. The trust of the people in the Party is most precious for us. It is the most valuable wealth of all for us. With the belief that the people’s trust in us is all we need, we should live up to their trust through our devoted service to them.

The people’s trust is the most valuable wealth!

The officials were overwhelmed by the profound love and trust of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who takes warm care of all people across the country like a mother who happily accepts her child’s importunate demand. All people were moved to tears when they heard what he had said.
