Deep Anthracite Layer Interpretation by Radom Forest Modelling Based on Study of Information from Physical Prospecting and Boring

2023/03/29

Kim Chaek University of Technology has recently discovered the method of deep anthracite layer interpretation by random forest modelling based on the study of information from physical prospecting and boring.

As anthracite formed in the Upper Palaeozoic Era in Korea serves as major source of fuel and material, it is of great significance to ensure the accuracy of deep prospecting based on information from boring and physical prospecting of different kinds in the surrounding areas of anthracite mines.

The random forest modelling projector based on the correct study of information makes it possible to predict new butane zones and estimate their reserves by ensuring objective and accurate prediction of reciprocal depth and width of deep coal layer in the areas without information from boring.
