Firm Determination to Contribute to Implementation of the Regional Economic Development Policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea
The lecturers of Nampho University of Fisheries have turned out as one in the effort to implement the regional economic development policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea: they now orientate their scientific research to producing research results conducive to transforming their coastal region.
They have already solved many scientific and technological problems, including the application of micro-population technology to fresh-water fish farming. Without resting contented with the already made achievements, the research team of the university has set up the high goal of increasing the resources of stone flounder, a non-migratory fish in the West Sea of Korea, and is now intensifying scientific research for its attainment.
Everywhere at the university, we can see its lecturers and researchers devoting their creative wisdom and enthusiasm, fully aware that they are also responsible for the development of fishing industry of the country.
