Strong Emphasis on Textbook Issue

One day in May, 2016 General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the exhibition of the machines manufactured as labor achievements of loyalty presented to the 7^th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea. In the lounge of the New Technical Innovation Hall, he examined the textbooks which were displayed there.

The leading officials were happy to see the well-compiled textbooks for kindergarteners, primary and secondary schoolers, and university and college students.

First, General Secretary Kim Jong Un carefully examined the textbooks for kindergarteners, the reference books helpful for their intellectual development and the textbooks for primary schoolers, and highly appreciated with great satisfaction that they were well compiled with their covers well designed to meet the children’s psychological features.

Then, he examined the textbooks for university and college students and stressed: It is the intention of the Workers’ Party of Korea to turn the country into a country of education. What is important for its realization is to ensure that all children and students use home-made schoolbags, textbooks and notebooks. In future, we should make more than enough number of high quality textbooks to provide them to tour children and students since they are very essential for education.

The leading officials were all moved by the lofty intention of the peerlessly great person who cared so much to provide better conditions of education to the rising generations that he made strong emphasis on textbook issue while happily inspecting the machines manufactured as labor achievements of loyalty presented to the 7^th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea. And cherishing his noble intention deep in their hearts, they made a firm determination to devote their wisdom and enthusiasm to bringing the future of the country into full bloom.
