Hot Wind of Support to Education Sweeps the Country
The DPR Korea has set March and October of every year as “months of support to schools” and dynamically pushed forward the mass movement of support to education, making use of this period as an important occasion of improving the educational conditions and environment.
In this period, senior officials of the Party and the state, and all citizens of the country give parental support to all universities, schools and kindergartens across the country from the capital city Pyongyang to the mountainous and remote island villages in the provinces.
In 2023 alone, 300 model schools and kindergartens were built or renovated, and over 14 000 classrooms were turned into multifunctional ones. This clearly shows the high enthusiasm of DPRK citizens for assistance to education.
