Dream of a Woman Educator
Ri Sang Ok, director of the graduate course of Haeju Kim Jong Thae University of Education, is an ordinary educator in her early 40s who harbours a valuable dream in her mind.
She has an ardent wish to do whatever is conducive, even if trifle, to the socialist motherland which has entrusted her, daughter of an ordinary farmer, to teach at the university and provided her with the happiest life in the world, and a proud aspiration for unreserved devotion to it – this is her valuable dream cherished deep in her heart.
With this dream she wrote 8 textbooks and reference books and over 30 essays. She was awarded more than 30 diplomas and certificates at different festivals and exhibitions, and made a positive contribution to training her students to come first at national contests of different kinds. In addition, she made valuable scientific research achievements helpful for prosperity and development of the country, thus giving great pleasure to the Party.
Highly evaluating her achievements obligatory for an educator and scientist, the Workers’ Party of Korea invited her to the 14th National Conference of Teachers and other important national events.
She also participated in the celebration of the 74th founding anniversary of DPR Korea, and along with this warm affection and high honor bestowed to her, she keeps deeper in her heart her valuable dream of repaying even a little to the affection for her throughout her life.
Now she continues to make dynamic advance towards a new world of science, mindful of her firm determination.
