Development of Efficient Plasma Therapy Device
The researchers of the medical research institute of Chongjin College of Medical Sciences have developed in our own way the NO plasma therapy device and applied them to clinical practice.
Throughout the world, active research is now going on to develop exogenous nitrogen monoxide (NO) generator for exogenously applying the positive effect of NO on organisms.
With the intensive research into chemical and physical synthesis of exogenous NO, plasma therapy device which generates NO has been developed and actively applied to clinical practice.
PhD and Ass. Prof. Choe Kwang Ho, a section chief, Ji Nam Il and other researchers set the high goal of developing the NO generator for plasma therapy, with the firm determination to make a positive contribution to people’s health promotion.
By pooling each other’s wisdom and enthusiasm and promoting joint research with the universities in the capital, they have manufactured the efficient NO plasma therapy device and found out the new therapeutic principle and methods.
This device is divided into main part and working part (plasma generator).
The main part includes power supply unit, automatic ignition system (high-frequency oscillation unit, cooling system and air compressor.
This device helps reduces the treatment period of incurable trauma, abiotrophic ulcer, rheumatic arthritis, dermatitis and burn and save drugs, and accordingly, it took the first place at the 37th National Scientific and Technological Festival.
