Looking round the factory, Chairman Kim Jong Il watched the modern automatic packing machine carefully and appreciated her and other lecturers and researchers of Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering, tenderly stroking her back.
General Secretary Kim Jong Un noticed her standing at the far back behind the officials and gave her the honour of having a picture taken just beside Chairman Kim Jong Il, a picture to be handed down from generation to generation.

She met General Secretary Kim Jong Un for the second time on July 2, Juche101(2012) when he visited Pyongyang Hosiery Factory.
General Secretary Kim Jong Un recognized her standing by a machine. He warmly took her hands, saying that he was pleased to see the researcher from Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering who had developed the automatic packing machine and delighted Chairman Kim Jong Il.

After two years from then, on August 6, Juche103(2014) General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited Pyongyang Hosiery Factory again. When he saw her standing in front of a modern machine, he warmly shook her hands with a bright smile on his face.
Kindly looking at her shedding tears of emotion, he remembered the last meeting with her and appreciated her.
Then, he looked at the equipment which was being made by her and other lecturers and researchers from Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering and wished Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering bigger success in future.
In high appreciation of the woman scientist who had devoted her all to scientific research, he gave prominence to her as Merited Scientist, Doctor of Science and Assistant Professor.
