Pride of Our Kindergarten
Kim Jong Im, a teacher from Kaeson Kindergarten in Moranbong District, affiliated to Pyongyang Teachers Training College, set about creating a new educational method helpful to developing the intellectual skills of children with a bold decision to train young talents who would shoulder the future of the country, and developed and introduced a new abacus education method suited to the characteristics of preschool children. Last year she created the new methods of robot-aided education and scientific games and had it generalized across the country, thus contributing to raising the educationlevel of kindergartens in provinces, particularly, in rural areas.
Upholding the Party’s policy of reducing the gap between urban and rural areas in education leve;, the demonstration of model lesson shown by her at kindergartens in various towns and counties helped teachers improve their qualifications and, in this course, she provided more than 20, 000 pieces of educational apparatuses and materials of 48 kinds with sincerity.
Accordingly, she became an October 8 Model Teacher and was honored as one of the ten best teachers in 2023.
She now continues to devote her pure conscience to the education of rising generations with a single mind to repay the trust and expectation of the Party, which has given her prominence as a vanguard of revolution in education and a reliable revolutionary to whom the future of the country can be entrusted.
