A Scholar in Forties Surprised the World of Physics

Professor and Doctor Kang Jin U, a head of the department in Faculty of Physics in Kim Il Sung University achieved a great success in the research on small particle theory and cosmology which only some developed countries had monopolized, and thus received 2.16 Science and Technology Prize and was honored as one of the best scientists in 2023.

In reward for his prominent merits in scientific research work, he had met General Secretary Kim Jong Un several times and was awarded Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize and Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize, the highest honor of Korean youth and the degree of Doctor and the title of Professor. This time he also presented a significant research result and got the attention of the academic community.

Today he is running on the road of research with a single mind to repay the love of the Party with the high results.
