Affection for Orphans
A few days ago, a woman entered the front gate of Phyongsong Orphanage.
She was Pak Yun Hui, who lives in Neighbourhood Unit 60, Yokap-dong, Phyongsong city.
The officials and employees of the orphanage were excited to greet her.
It hadn’t been so long since Pak Yun Hui had started to call on the orphans.
But the image of her taking sincere maternal care of them was clearly remembered not only by them but also by all the orphans.
What is the story behind it?
When she returned home after having been honorably invited as a special representative to the celebration of the 75th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Army, she thought and thought.
She had done what she ought to do as a citizen of this country, but our Party had given her great honor. She was overwhelmed by the emotion surging from her heart to think of the affection bestowed to her by the Party.
“How can I live up to such great benevolence?”
And she began to take the lead in helping the army day and night. One day she happened to pass Phyongsong Orphanage
Looking at the happy orphans, who were growing up free from all concerns at the happiest home of the world, she haboured the idea of contributing to growth of the orphans, who are so precious to the Party.
Since then, she had visited the orphanage with foodstuff which is helpful to growth of the children.
This was the beginning of her visit to it.
In those days, though difficult, she was pleased to see the children growing up to be pillars of the country.
Pak Yun Hui always cares for the appetite and health of the orphans. Whenever the officials and employees of the orphanage see her taking maternal care of the orphans, they admire her as an unusual woman.
Today, she continues the road for the future of the country, true to the intention of the Party.
