On the Birthday of a War Veteran
A few days ago Kim Myong Hui, daughter of war veteran Kim Un Sop, as a researcher at Kim Chaek University of Technology, called on her father only to be surprised.
Actually, she had come with her brothers and sisters to sincerely arrange a birthday party for their father who had devoted his whole life to education of coming generations and scientific research with a determination to live up to the affection and trust of the Workers’ Party of Korea which had given prominence to him as a professor and a doctor of science. But she saw the people taking more sincere care of him.
They were the leading officials and lecturers of Kim Chaek University of Technology.
They had taken care of him as members of his family, regarding it as their due duty and moral obligation to care for the war veterans who are respected as heroes and witnesses of the legendary heroic era.
The leading officials and many other people from the university, in spite of busy schedule, came to a restaurant in Mirae Scientists’ Street and warmly congratulated him on his birthday.
When many people wished him good health, singing songs and presenting him souvenirs, the war veteran himself and his family could not hold back their surging emotion.
So grateful to General Secretary
Thank you very much, General Secretary
After the unforgettable birthday party of her father, Kim Myong Hui could not sleep until deep at night.
The vast world of noble moral obligation is unfolded on this land as we are led by General Secretary
She was reminded of her father’s earnest request: Work harder for our gracious Workers’ Party of Korea and motherland.
