One day in November, Juche 105(2016) General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the defence post on a frontline island.

He acquainted himself about the life and combat preparedness of the soldiers and guided with satisfaction the live gun-firing exercises. Then, when he was coming down the height, he tenderly asked one of the officials whether there was a branch school on the island.

His question was so unexpected that the official answered yes without understanding he had asked it.

At his answer, General Secretary Kim Jong Un warmly advised to the officials accompanying him that leading officials of the superior units should regularly learn about the education at the branch school and solve in good time any problems arising in education with correct view of posterity and future.

The officials, who belatedly understood his intention, reported to him that many teachers volunteered to the branch schools on islands, noting that a branch school for a few pupils on an island was conceivable only in DPR Korea.

At this report, General Secretary Kim Jong Un earnestly said that those teachers who volunteered to the branch schools on islands after graduation from the universities of education were all patriots, and that the society should give prominence to the teachers who devoted their pure conscience to coming generations on remote islands and highly appreciate them.

The officials could not suppress their surging emotion.

They had simply admired at our wonderful socialist educational system, seeing the teachers volunteer to the island branch schools for a few pupils, but they had never considered them as patriots equal to the heroes who had performed great feats for the country.

Patriots!

The unfathomable trust and expectation of General Secretary Kim Jong Un is, indeed, the valuable ideological and spiritual source which encourages all educators across the country to devote their wisdom and enthusiasm to the sacred patriotic undertaking of bringing up the rising generations.
