An Immortal Classical Work Written in a Few Hours

The day when Chairman Kim Jong Il wrote the immortal classical work “On Having a Correct Viewpoint and Understanding of the Juche Philosophy” implant in the hearts of all people his peerlessly great image as the master of ideology and theories admired by humanity.

It was one day in October, Juche 79(1990), when Chairman Kim Jong Il was busy with his field guidance.

That day he consulted with his entourage a series of problems and the solutions to them until far past midnight and told them to have some sleep.

So, all of them went to bed.

The next morning the officials saw Chairman Kim Jong Il coming into the room with an unusually thick sheaf of paper.

(What is it for?)

They said Good Morning to him, all curious about it.

He exchanged greetings with them, and as if to clear their curiosity, he put the sheaf of paper on the table and told them that he had written a work the last night after they had all gone to bed.

And he began to read his manuscript to them.

It was really a masterpiece which proved the originality of the Juche philosophy scientifically and theoretically with gem-like propositions.

The officials were surprised.

It was really shocking and beyond imagination that such a wonderful work on the philosophical issue could be written in such a short time.

One of the officials asked him how he had been able to write such a thoughtful work in such a short time in spite of his busy schedule.

Chairman Kim Jong Il smiled and explained to them, who were anxious to know the secret behind it: I have a lot to write, but cannot find enough time for it. So, as a thirsty man digs a well, I thought out a method of writing in mind while working.

The officials looked up to him with boundless feeling of admiration and reverence.

It was the first time for them in their life to hear about writing in mind while working.

Looking at the wide-eyed officials, he continued: I always think while working. And when an issue which requires a practical solution comes across, I begin to write in mind. I make sentences while having food, make paragraphs while walking, establish the theme in the car and evolve the content between consultations.

Chairman Kim Jong Il worked harder than others, and at the same time wrote books. In the long run, the extraordinary authorship of the peerlessly great man was the result of his tireless devotion and efforts.

The officials felt wet in their eyes as they were overwhelmed by the boundless feeling of reverence for Chairman Kim Jong Il who, gifted with the writing ability unrivalled by any other great person, enriched the abundant treasure house of ideology and theories which would shine forever in the history of human thinking, and as they thought about his energetic efforts.

This is not the only immortal classical work Chairman Kim Jong Il, the outstanding thinker and theoretician, wrote in such an admirably fast speed.

One day after Chairman Kim Jong Il scientifically systematized the revolutionary ideas of

President Kim Il Sung for the first time in history and proclaimed the program of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism, he made public the immortal classical work “Party information workers should go deep into the masses”; two days later, “On bringing about a radical turn in writing editorials”; and six days later, “On smashing the obsolete formalities and bringing about a fresh turn in the Party work”.

It was really an eye-opening fact that he made public a series of immortal classical works in succession in such a short time.

It is not at all the result of only his gifted wisdom and extraordinary writing ability.

It is his high sense of responsibility for the revolution and lofty devotion of his all to the consummation of the revolutionary cause of Juche that made it possible for him to display unrivalled writing ability and enrich the everlasting treasure house for the country and revolution.
