Apartment House for Educators on the Bank of Amnok River
A wonderful apartment house of unique shape for educators has been built on the bank of Amnok River in Sinuiju, under the boundless national benefits granted by the Workers’ Party of Korea to education.
Some people say it looks like the sun rising up in the blue sky, some others say it looks like a floral basket of best wishes, and still others say it looks like a sunflower. Therefore, it is called a “sun-like apartment house”, an “apartment house shaped like a floral basket” or a “sunflower-shaped apartment house”.
The Workers’ Party of Korea provided such a wonderful house to the educators and scientists free of charge.
Living in this house are long-standing lecturers who have dedicated their scores of life to education, the young couple educators who have just started their life as lecturers, and the scientists and researchers who have made a devoted service to the society and collective.
The apartment house is well equipped with all living conditions and environment, and on top of it is the motto “Single-hearted Unity”.
Reflected from the windows of this apartment house for educators is their firm determination to form a big single-heartedly united family and devote their all for rising generations, looking forward to better future.
