The 58th National Students’ Art Festival was held showing the happiness of the new generation woh are fully developing their hopes and talents under the warm care of the maternal Workers’ Party of Korea.

Participating in the festival opened on the occasion of the meaningful Day of the Sun, the most auspicious holiday of the Korean nation, were more than 1,300 students from all parts of the country.

The participants in the festival, which was divided into the folk song contest of the members of the art circles of schoolchildren’s palace and halls, the individual art contest and the provincial art performance of students, clearly represented the happiness of the students, who are preparing themselves to be future artistes at modern after-school educational bases set up under the warm care of the Party.

There was a presentation of those students who had distinguished themselves in the folk song contest of the members of the art circles of schoolchildren’s palace and halls and the individual art contest.

Through narration “Father ”, folk quartet “It carries fragrance” and other items, the students expressed their boundless feeling of gratitude to General Secretary Kim Jong Un who embraces all children across the country in his warm bosom and prepares them to be strong reserves and successors to revolution, taking care of them with the warm paternal affection.

Through Kayagum and Janggo solo “The best is my country” and piano solo “Tondollari” and male solo “May you shine, our Pyongyang”, the performers depicted the benevolence bestowed to them by the Workers’ Party of Korea which safeguards the beautiful dreams of children and brings happy laughter to their families with the greatest affection in the world.

At the closing ceremony of the festival held on April 7, the groups from Pyongyang, North Hamgyong Province, South Phyongan Province and South Hamgyong Province were awarded the the certificates of commendations from the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League for the full display of their artistic talents through representation of colourful items.

The festival participants are full of determination to conduct more dynamic after-school activities to grow up as able revolutonary talents equipped with rich knowledge, noble morality and strong physique, as reliable pillars who will shoulder the future of the country.
