Sci-Tech Complex–Multi-Functional Scientific and Technological Extension Center

On SSuk Islet in Pyongyang stands the wonderful Sci-Tech Complex, which is built to be a palace of learning for all people, a multi-functional scientific and technological extension center at the personal initiative and under the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The Sci-Tech Complex has its huge scientific and technological information database, which has gathered and sorted in a systematic way the scientific and technological achievements, and is well equipped with the latest information technical means for different kinds of information service.

All along its corridor and in the indoor scientific and technological exhibition halls, to say nothing of the specialized e-reading rooms, people can acquaint themselves with the advanced scientific and technological information for relevant fields to acquire rich knowledge. It can also play role of a center for national and international scientific and technological exchange as it has seminar rooms and makeshift exhibition halls, which can accommodate seminar, symposiums, scientific and technological exhibitions and expositions of different scopes. With electric screens and other display means, bookshelves, diagrams and exhibits in the lobby and other parts of the complex, the whole building provides a huge learning space.

It is also well equipped with restaurants, soft-drinking counters, bookstores, shops and other service facilities, which can provide its visitors with the highest level of convenience.
