Comprehensive Base for Training Talented Scientific and Technical Experts of Light Industry
In Pyongyang there is Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry, a higher education institute which trains engineers and scientists of light industry.
The university has made positive contributions to the development of science and technology by producing a large number of highly talented scientific and technical experts of light industry possessed with modern scientific and technological knowledge.
Now it has developed into a comprehensive base for training talented scientific and technical experts of light industry: it has over 10 faculties and research institutes, more than 100 departments, a library which can house hundreds of thousands of books, a printing shop, modern laboratories, a general analysis laboratory and an advanced production center; it has thousands of undergraduate and graduate students and tens of thousands of on-line students.
