A pedigree of the education of the rising generation

One day in June, Juche 59(1970), President Kim Il Sung visited Chongjin University of Education(At that time) on the way to the field-guidance of North Hamgyong province.

That day he looked around several places of the university including various laboratories, research rooms and dormitory and held a conference with teachers and students.

At the conference, the President said that the university of education is a place where teachers who can train secondary school students physically and also help them have the revolutionary and scientific world outlook are trained so that students can judge things correctly.

He also instructed that the education of students at this stage was very important and it depends on the teachers’ role.

The President continued that the university of education is a tap root which brings up people correctly and it was the most important because it was like a pedigree.

The officials and teachers of the university were gripped by great passion.

A pedigree! Indeed, this was a new one that no educator discovered and it was a wise instruction indicating the position and mission of a teacher-training institution in the education of rising generation.
