Mirae Scientists Street

One day in May, Juche 103(2014), Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un visited the building site of apartment houses of teachers of Kim Chaek University of Technology.

Looking contentedly at the apartment houses which rose majestically and boasted its grand figure, the Supreme Leader said that we should build 500 more houses in that area for the teachers and researchers of Kim Chaek University of Technology in the future and if more houses were built from the houses being built now along the line of the River Taedong, the appearance of the area would be renewed.

Looking at the officials who were holding the passion in check by the unexpected instructions, he instructed in detail that new apartment houses should be built well.

He continued that it would be good to name the street “the Mirae Scientists Street” and said that he felt good when he thought that the Mirae Scientists Street would be built.

Like this, the Mirae Scientists Street represents the huge belief and love of our Party that scientific and technological development is none other than the future and the heroes of that future are scientists and teachers.
